Bulls Fall To UCF: Prepare For The Battle Of The Atlantic

On Tuesday, the Bulls lost their 8th game of the season; falling to the No. 19 UCF Knights.  Early in the game the Bulls first-baseman, Jimmy Falla, hit a solo homerun to put the Bull in front.  But in the fifth inning, the Knights responded on a Ronnie Richardson base clearing three run double.  In the 6th/7th innings, the Knights sealed the victory; scoring three more runs and winning the game 6-2.

After the disappointing loss, the Bull, gear up to play a three game series against the (11-10) Georgetown Hoyas.  The Hoyas, who have lost 5 of their last 6 games, come to Tampa with an unimposing resume.  They have struggled against Big East teams and have played questionablely in five of their elevin wins.

The Bulls, who have won five out their last seven games, have a  virtuous chance of a three game sweep.  The series begins tomorrow, March 23rd at 7:00 PM.
