On Sunday, the Bulls completed their 2nd sweep of the season, defeating the Georgetown Hoyas 7-2. With the win against the Hoyas, the Bulls improve to 17-8 on the season and 3-0 in Big East play.
The Bulls were lead by pitcher Matt Reed, who allowed 2 earned runs and 5 hits in 6 innings. On the offensive end, the South Florida Bulls, a hitting threat in recent weeks, were anchored by James Ramsay and Jimmy Falla, who combined for 6 hits and 3 RBI’s. After going 3-4 from the plate, James Ramsay, the Bulls offensive machine, tacked on his 12th multi-hit game of the season. A season that’s approaching its halfway point.
On Wednesday, South Florida will play host to the Florida A&M Rattlers, who have a 8-19 record. The game will start at 5 PM ET and be airing live on BullsCast.
