USF Vs. Pittsburgh

Today the Bulls begin a crucial three game series against the University of Pittsburgh Panthers.  The  Pathers (16-15) have stuggled against Big East teams this season. In conference games, Pittsburgh has a 2-7 record with wins against the #250 ranked Cincinnati Bear-Cats.  This is exellent news for the Bulls, who are looking for  easy victories against inner conference teams.

USF will start the series against the Pittsburgh Pathers, with their pitching ace Andrew Barbosa, a left handed divinity, who is 4-2 with a 2.20 ERA.  In conference games, Barbosa has racked up 33 strikeouts in only 19 1/3 innings and a 1.37 Earned Run Average.  Barbosa will be followed by Joey Lovecchio (6-0) on Saturday.  Lets Go Bulls!
