USF’s football game with Memphis has been moved to Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium because of the approach of Hurricane Milton.

There was no immediate announcement of which TV outlet will carry the game.

The school said in a release that after the storm has passed, the American Athletic Conference and teams will assess the conditions and overall situation to determine if further adjustments are necessary. Power outages are expected throughout the region.

The storm is also expected to bring potentially catastrophic damage to the Bay area, which is still drying out from extensive flooding caused two weeks ago by Hurricane Helene. The National Weather Service said, “If the storm stays on the current track, it will be the worst storm to impact the Tampa area in over 100 years.”

USF head coach Alex Golesh is expected to provide a further update later Tuesday morning.
