Well-traveled former South Florida wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling has another NFL address, his third one in this calendar year.
He was signed to the Pittsburgh Steeler's practice squad after being released by the Los Angeles Chargers. MVS, as he is known, was in training camp with the Dallas Cowboys but was released just before the season began.
He appeared in three games for the Chargers and caught two passes for 22 yards.

In Pittsburgh, he is reuniting with the coach and quarterback he had in Green Bay, where he played from 2018-2021.
Current Steelers coach Mike McCarthy was coaching Green Bay in 2018 when he took MVS in the fifth round of the NFL draft. He finished that season with 38 receptions for 581 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
He played four seasons in Green Bay where the quarterback was Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers, of course, is now with Pittsburgh and last year wasn't shy about throwing to his former Packers teammate. In just five games, Rodgers targeted MVS 21 times with 10 completions and one touchdown.
Valdes-Scantling has also played for Kansas City, where he was part of a Super Bowl champion team. He also had stops in Buffalo, New Orleans, San Francisco, before finishing last season in Pittsburgh under then-coach Mike Tomlin.
The Steelers have a critical need for receiving help. They recently lost wideouts Michael Pittman, Jr. and Roman Wilson to injuries and they lack depth at the position.
It remains unclear how quickly MVS will be elevated to the main roster, although it could come as soon as this week's game in Paris against the New Orleans Saints.
MVS played for USF from 2016-2017. In his final season, he caught 53 passes for 879 yards and six touchdowns.
