If you're an NFL team and you need help at wide receiver, who you gonna call?

Marquez! (Valdes-Scantling).

Yes, the well-traveled former USF receiver is on the move again, this time to the Dallas Cowboys.

The news broke Monday afternoon that he and the Cowboys have reached agreement on a one-year contract. He likely is an insurance policy in case Dallas and star receiver George Pickens can't reach an agreement on the long-term deal Pickens is demanding.

This will be the seventh team for Valdes-Scantling since Green Bay drafted him in 2018. He played four years with the Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers before spending two seasons with Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes, where he was part of a Super Bowl championship team in 2022.

After that, he had brief stops at Buffalo, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco.

He has played in 116 regular-season NFL games and 12 playoff games throughout his career. Valdes-Scantling has 21 touchdown catches for 3,686 yards.

He played two seasons at USF after transferring from North Carolina State. He was very productive for the Bulls. In 23 games for the Bulls, he had 75 receptions for 1,294 yards and 11 touchdowns. In 2017 for the Bulls, he also had eight rushes for 108 yards and a touchdown.
