USF and the rest of the American Athletic Conference have announced the kickoff times for most of their football games this season, as well as the TV networks that will carry them.

We already knew that the Bulls' opening game on Thursday, August 28, against Boise State will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and be carried on ESPN.

Three more afternoon games follow that one.

The Bulls game at Florida on Saturday, September 6, will start at 4:15 p.m. on the SEC Network. The September 13 game at Miami will kick off at 4:30 on the CW.

A week later on September 20, USF faces South Carolina State in its final non-conference game. That game will start at noon on ESPN+.

The early start is necessitated by the Tampa Bay Rays home game that night at Steinbrenner Field. The team also uses the parking lots at Raymond James Stadium, site of the Bulls’ home games.

On Friday, October 3, the Bulls play Charlotte at home to open their American Athletic Conference schedule. That game starts at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

The Bulls have another Friday night a week later, this time at North Texas. ESPN2 will also carry that game with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The UTSA game in Tampa on Thursday, November 6 is a bit unsettled. That game will be broadcast on either ESPN or ESPN2 and kick at 7:30 or 8 p.m.

South Florida travels to Annapolis, Md., to face Navy on Saturday, Nov. 15, with a noon kick. The game will be televised by an ESPN network to be determined.

Start times and networks for games against Memphis, UAB, and Rice are to be determined.

In other notable AAC football news, all three games of the annual Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy series will once again air on CBS this season.

Navy hosts Air Force on October 4, while Army visits the Falcons for a November 1 matchup. The annual Army-Navy game, the second in which both teams are AAC members, is scheduled for December 13 in Baltimore.

The AAC title game will air on ABC on Friday, Decenber 5 at 8 p.m.
