After a relatively slow start by USF in the college baseball Transfer Portal, action is picking up.
The On3.com tracker showed eight Bulls have entered the portal since it opened on June 1, None of them have found new homes yet.
The potential departees include:
OF Victor Cartagena: If the name doesn't sound familiar for Bulls fans, there's a good reason for that After transferring in 2025 from Indiana State, where he played for current USF coach Mitch Hannahs, he has played in only four games. None of them came in 2026.
RHP Jonah Sarabia: He worked out of the bullpen and was 1-0 with a 3.09 ERA in eight appearances across 11.2 innings. His win came after throwing 1.1 innings while recording a strikeout in a 7-6 win in March at Florida Gulf Coast. That pushed USF's record at the time to 21-4. Man, those were the days.
RHP Carter Krawchuk: He's another portal-bound Bull who saw no action this season. He started at Purdue in 2024 and transferred to Seminole State in 2025. He has yet to see any action in a college game.
LHP Nakni Anna: He appeared in only eight games -- one start -- and totaled 10.2 innings. His numbers were good though, even for such a small sample size. He held opponents to a team-low .143 batting average.
RHP Michael Senay: This one could leave a mark. Senay, a true freshman, was USF's best and most-used pitcher this season. He had a 1.07 WHIP to go with a 6-3 record and 3.78 ERA. He was named D1 Baseball’s Midseason Top Freshman on April 2. He was Perfect Game’s Freshman of the Week in March. He was named American Conference Pitcher of the Week in back-to-back weeks. He had multiple Division I offers out of high school, including Florida and Florida State.

7 shutout on only 80 pitches in a rivalry matchup? Michael Senay delivered that in what ended up being an extra-inning win for USF. https://t.co/nJq8HA2Z0l pic.twitter.com/hfDT1zWA1P
RF Gabriel Graulau: He saw the field in 15 games as a freshman, including eight starts. He hit .222 over 36 at-bats
RHP Nolan Bernard: A sophomore, he was called on 17 times, including one start. He has a live arm and led all USF relievers with 36 strikeouts in 33.1 innings. But he also walked 15 hitters and threw a team-high nine wild pitches.
RF Brock Silvers: He chose USF over Kentucky, Tulane, and Portland, but appeared in only two games. He did record college hit, going 1-for-3 over those two games.
While USF finished with a solid 31-16 overall record, the Bulls were 11-16 in the American Conference and missed the conference tournament for the second time in three years.
