USF football won't have to wait long before jumping into its American Conference 2026 schedule. The Bulls learned they will travel to Army on September 12, the second game of the season, as their full schedule for all conference teams was released.
The Bulls have Thursday night games at UTSA on October 8 and at home against Memphis on November 12. They have Friday games at East Carolina on November 6 and at home on November 27 against Tulane. That will be USF's final game at Raymond James Stadium as the Bulls prepare to move into their on-campus stadium in 2027.
The Tulane game also could be flexed to Saturday, November 28 for television purposes. That decision has to be made by October 11.
Homecoming is set for October 17 against Kent State. The Golden Flashes fill the scheduling spot left open after Alabama moved its game with the Bulls to 2031. That also gives the Bulls seven home games instead of the usual six. The "Black Out Game" is on October 31 at home against UAB.
USF won't play conference opponents Navy, North Texas, Rice, Charlotte, or Tulsa during the regular season.
Start times will be announced later.
The Bulls, under first-year head coach Brian Hartline, had a major roster turnover after last season's 9-4 record. USF has 58 new players currently on the roster, including 41 from the Transfer Portal. Of that group, 24 came from power conference programs.
Several key offensive players, including quarterback Byrum Brown and multiple receivers, followed former coach Alex Golesh to Auburn. However, running back Alvon Isaac elected to stay with the Bulls. In 13 games last season, he rushed for 350 yards on 73 carries. He also caught 14 passes for 141 yards.
Hartline's portal class has been rated tops in the Group of 5.
The team will begin taking shape when spring practice opens on March 11. The spring game is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, at USF's Corbett Stadium. The kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
