USF fans of men's and/or women's basketball should probably get ready for a flurry of activity. The Transfer Portal is about to close and both teams still have spots to fill.
The women's portal closes today (Monday, April 20) and as of now the Bulls show one player on the roster -- senior guard Hannah Kohn. She is a transfer from Clemson.
Kohn's uncle, Reggie Kohn, was a four-year starter at USF from 1999-2003.
Junior guard Kate Novik also committed to USF after two seasons at DePaul. She led the Blue Demons in scoring with 12.2 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 3.5 apg. She is not yet listed on the Bulls roster.
North Carolina State 6-foot-3 center Mallory Collier also announced she is transferring to USF, although she also is not listed yet on the roster.

Things have been a little more active -- at least publicly -- on the men's side, where the portal will close on April 21.
New coach Chris Mack inherited an empty roster as every player on the team was either out of eligibility or entered the portal.
Mack has since added some highly regarded talent in the backcourt, the latest of whom is point guard AJ Dancler from Coastal Carolina. He averaged 15.6 points a game last season and shot 38.9 percent from behind the arc.
Mack has secured seven players through the portal and has a commitment from 6-foot-8 high school player Jake Feldhaus.
Feldhaus was named 2025-26 Kentucky Mr. Basketball and Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year. He averaged 20.7 points and 13 rebounds per game last season at Madison Central High School. He had originally committed to Belmont but flipped to USF after the Belmont coach took another job.
Mack told Bulls Unlimited on Sunday that he is actively trying to sign more players on the interior. A pair of 7-footers he coached at Charleston last season -- CAA Defensive Player of the Year Chol Machot and 7-foot-2 Christian Reeves -- are attracting a lot of attention from high major programs. Neither player has been linked to USF by sites that pay rapt attention to this.
Most of the men's players who left USF through the portal have found new homes. They include:
Forward Tristan Beckford committed to Bowling Green.
Point guard Gavin Hightower joined ex-USF coach Bryan Hodgson at Providence.
Guard Adriel Nyorha comitted to Pacific.
Guard CJ Brown is heading to High Point.
Small forward Caleb Sanders and Power forward De`Ante Green are joining former USF assistant Tobin Anderson at Tennessee Tech.
Guard Wes Enis committed to Creighton.
Guard Xavier Brown and forward Onyx Nnani have not signed with new teams yet.
