Bulls Fall A Couple Runs Short Vs. Stetson


On Tuesday, the Bulls (23-11) lost their 2nd straight game to the Stetson Hatters (22-10) .  Going into the 8th inning, the

Bulls had a 4-3 lead when Ray Delphey gave up three straight RBI singles.   With the 6-4 loss to the Hatters, the Bulls break their 3 game winning streak; in which, they swept the University of Cincinnati Bear-cats. 

On the offensive side, the Bulls were lead by James Rampsay, who went 2-4 with a RBI single.  The Hatters, who have swept the Bulls this season, were lead by Mark Jones, who went 2-3 including a two run homerun.  For one of the first times this season, the Bulls were let down by their pitching staff who blew the lead in the 8th inning.  On Friday, the Bulls look to rebound in a three game series against the Pittsburg Panthers.
