USF Vs. Louisville

Over the weekend, the Bulls lost their first Big East series of the season to the Louisville Cardinals.  In game 1, the Bulls took a 5-4 lead into the 9th inning only to see it slip away in a 6-5 loosing effort.  James Ramsay went 2-4 in the game including an RBI and a run scored.  In the 2nd game of the series, the Bulls lost 12-1.  In the 3rd inning the Cardinals scored 8 runs off of USF starting pitcher Joey Lovecchio, who was previous undefeated on the season.  In the final game of the series, the Bulls picked up a 5-1 victory over Louisville; preventing their only sweep of the season.  Derrick Stultz had an impressive outing; giving up one run on 6 hits through 8 innings.
