USF Defeats No. 2 Florida Gators

On Tuesday, the Bulls defeated the No. 2 Florida Gators 5-3; giving them their first win against the Gators since May 11, 2005. The tone was sent early by Andrew Longley, who went 2-4 with 2 home runs and three RBI’s. The mound was controlled by pitcher Matt Reed, who allowed 2 earned runs in 5 2/3 innings of work. Next, the Bulls play a three game series this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday against the Villanova Wildcats. Friday’s game in Tampa begins at 7:00 PM ET and will be airing live on BULLSCast.
